Journal Description AVERROUS: Jurnal Kedokteran dan Kesehatan Malikussaleh (p-ISSN: 2477-5231; e-ISSN: 2502-8715) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to the advancement of medical and health sciences through the publication of high-quality scholarly works. The journal serves as a platform for researchers, academics, clinicians, and health professionals to disseminate scientific knowledge and promote interdisciplinary collaboration in the fields of medicine and health sciences. AVERROUS: Jurnal Kedokteran dan Kesehatan Malikussaleh is published by the Medical Faculty of Universitas Malikussaleh, Lhokseumawe, Indonesia. The journal publishes original research articles, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses conducted in accordance with internationally recognized scientific and reporting standards. Brief communications reporting concise findings in medicine, recent developments in diagnostic procedures, treatments, public health issues, or healthcare system development are also accepted. All articles are published in English under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are credited, and any derivative works are shared under the same license. All submissions must comply with international publication ethics standards, including those related to authorship, plagiarism, data integrity, and research involving human or animal subjects. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be written in English and must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
